THE REST OF THE STORY

These pages are full of stories about crime and criminals being arrested.
I don't recall anyone following up with the out come.

Example gringo attacked, goes to hospital every one pitches in to pay medical bill.
punks that broke his jaw arrested.

What happened to the punks? They are in jail? They skipped bail?

Example; Another murder in Ensenada. Dope fiends kill older man to get drug money.
Any one know the rest of the story?

the list goes on

Everyone who lives in TJ, Mexicali, Ensenada, La Paz or San Lucas is a boy scout?

Let's see; what's more likely: Being attacked in Long Beach or Georgetown California?

Or Kansas City or Liberal, Kansas!

'Tis a misfortune part of analysis, thinking is...

Georgetown, Ca., as in El Dorado Co.? Then my guess would be Long Beach. Eldo Co., one of my favorite
areas in Ca. To reaserch how fast or slow the
Mex Judicial system works seems it would take a lot
leg work, probably info not readily available to us Gringos.
Good question though. A bit astray, an interesting case is currently taking place, where
a TV producer was extradited from the US to Mex to be tried
for the alledged murder of his wife in Cancun a while back, curious to see what develops

great question. In the US, we would know. Do you think these guys are really still in jail? or were out right away?

Why is it that immediately the "all is safe in Baja" folks jump out?

I doubt the police who arrested them would even know. The wheels of justice in Mexico roll down unknown streets depending on who knows who and what it might cost.

the wheels of Mexican justice grind very very slowly. it would be nice to hear the end of the story but by the time justice, or whatever, is meted out, it rarely gets back to folks who are not directly involved. a friend of a friend's maid happened to mention to someone who also knew me the outcome of a case I knew about here in Loreto...otherwise I might never have heard what happened.
