Funny, that's exactly how I feel about you and your political views, David.

It does provide insight into his persona. kinda scary

My 'scary persona' is

1) I love Baja and have since I was 8.

*****so do a lot of people.

2) I love to share what I have discovered with others so they too might enjoy it.

********so do a lot of people

3) I like to help others... be it to find a fun place to camp, find a mission site, spell a place correctly (for reasons that should be obvious), and whatever else I can do to help (irrigation, four wheeling, etc) ...

*****so do a lot of people....well maybe not the irrigation part

4) Have fun and have fun with others... camping, off roading, whatever...

****a lot of people do this way more than you do

and for the political twist you all have been waiting for:

5) To encourage everyone to believe in themselves and their ability to become great at what ever they do, without some big government agency dictating what they can do with their own money... to keep America free and as far from socialism (a proven failure everywhere it was tried) as possible.

*****are you an example of what happens with all this so called freedom? just askin

Oh, and this is a discussion... opinions belong to ourselves and because I express some, does NOT mean I expect you to or even want you to... It is JUST discussion.

******huh... you want to give your opinion but don't want ours.. now this is where it stats to get scary.

Have a NICE day!

Yes it was a nice day. Why do all these people do the same things with out being a magnet for ridicule? You need to ask yourself that.

And David, you left out the part about how other people are wrong and you are just educating them. Do you see where this is headed.

Have a nice day. Hopethis helps you out a little.

Oh indeed Ralph, you are so very wise... I wonder how I got by all these years (I will be 55 this year, btw)?

Maybe, just maybe... you and others who feel the need to ridicule may need some of what I got... to just get along? Only a very few are bothered by another's attempt to help or teach. How many have come to your Viva Baja parties or Baja camping/ off roading adventures? Or, do you just speak from behind the keyboard and avoid others in person?

I make an effort to be open to fellow Baja enthusiasts, so they can have a better time or just be friendly... no other reason. There is no politics on the trail either (you can ask BajaTripper)... I don't hate... I just share, and if you don't want what I give... nobody is making you read my posts.

For your info my two adopted grand daughters refer to their privates (in private) as "la baja". Like teenage American girls do with "Down There".

Chilango slang refers to "La Baja" as "A Downer, A Drag"

Jarocho slang sometimes refers to "Bien Baja" as getting screwed.

Baja California is unmistakeable with Mexicans especially traditional older ones.

"The Baja" zeroes the other person into the fact that you are from above the 45th latitude.

My only concern is not insulting Mexicans.

You know better. I don't need anything you got (sic). I Traveled Baja (the Baja) more than you, and now live there with many friends, You know that so don't play the BS card out of frustration. True, though, I have no need to go to your Viva Baja parties.

Why do you insert some of your reply inside my quote...?

I didn't write any of this:

"You know better. I don't need anything you got (sic). I Traveled Baja (the Baja) more than you, and now live there with many friends, You know that so don't play the BS card out of frustration. True, though, I have no need to go to your Viva Baja parties."

You put down 'got' then added '(sic)'... Why, so it looked like you correcting me for not using 'have'???

Too bad you didn't discover 'the Baja feeling' that typically makes people nice to each other... Can you find any place I have not been nice to you, ever that wasn't in defense of something you were negative to me about already? You can't, it isn't my M.O. I have many times asked for a truce, and I am again now... it is getting old.

Why does information and facts bother you? I don't know it all, but I do try to learn something every day... If spelling Baja places wrong means so much to you, then don't worry if others might want to spell it right. Okay amigo? CHILL... I know it's very hot in Feenicks, Aridzona!

DavidKIA

I assume that you think that if you think it or type it is information and knowledge? But not everyone on here, as you can tell by the posts, doesn't agree.

It is kinda of like listening to Al Gore talk about inventing the internet or discussing carbon credits.

You really should talk to a professional about your need or craving for attention. At your age is more embarrassing than impressive.

Stick to your core strengths about Baja history and facts and you will do fine.

David,

This is a kick me thread if ever I saw one. And you're getting kicked. But you knew this when you started. What possessed you to do so? I don't understand the workings of your mind.

It is all so predictable that I feel no desire to participate. Perhaps that's how you 'win'. Is that it? You outlast your critics. It's all too bizarre.

It's probably about attention. Your posts are so valuable. Why diminish yourself with this nonsense.

Well, the real children of Nomad make themselves noticed, that's for sure... I really hoped to communicate with adults here. I can have fun like anyone, but to be upset because I like to be correct on how the places in Baja we all love are spelled... is silly. Either enjoy the free information found here or move on, but to hang around a thread that you don't like, and throw tomatoes is pretty weird, I would say.

The real kick is the school teachers here who like to put me down... for teaching the correct Baja spelling!

Oh, to those of you who u2u'd me ... don't worry, the anti-facterites won't discourage me... Teach on!:light:

If you don't want to discuss correct spelling for places along the Baja Peninsula, there's really no reason to post in this thread.
If you want to expose yourselves as people who hate a guy who posts a lot of very helpful maps and Baja History information, I suggest you go to off-topic and start a thread about how stupid it is to be a conservative, and how conservatives are all stupid and selfish and then mis-spell their names on purpose so we can all see how evolved you are..........

Jeeze, sometimes this place makes my heart hurt,,,,,:(

Have politics come into this thread??? I don't think so.

Are there more many sides to history? I think so, but has any of that come into this thread? I don't think so

Are all conservatives stupid? I don't think so, and I sure have not seen where that came into this thread.

Why was this thread created? Well.................
