You know who really gets to me: Nancy Grace. She irked me during the OJ trial and was somewhat disappointed she was given a show. I can't put my
finger on what it is.
Hardball is ok but he's losing some of the fire.
Don't forget the McLaughlin group where Patrick Buchanan always stands out. The host is getting senile now. He should really stop.

To make an 'e' with an accent mark, press (and hold down) Alt and press 130 (on the keyboard that ISN'T above the letters)... é

I cancelled cable just so I wouldn't have to hear/see Nancy Grace ever again.

Now, the next one might be tricky for some... to make an 'i' with an accent, just hold down Alt (left hand for most of us), and press 161 (right hand
for most of us)! í

Just can't watch Nancy Grace, just can't do it. McLaughlin is definitely not the person he used to be! He should have retired.
Barry, Citizen's United is a very recent Supreme Court Decision --- check it out. But the fact that you do not know what it is, is very telling about
what Fox has NOT reported on. It is a major decision that is affecting this political campaign season big time.

Nancy Grace...
Nancy Grace doesn't pull any punches...I love her show. Can't wait till I have time to sit down and watch more TV. Sometimes understanding the
background on someone gives you an insight...she lost her fiancee to a sniper when she was a young lawyer and became a Prosecuting DA. Just like
Obama losing his mother to ovarian cancer and watching her suffer, I might not like certain people but can empathize with them when I know their
background. Quote: | Originally posted by DianaT

Yes, I am aware of her background and while I can very much emphasize with her and what happened, I don't see how that should give insight that might
make someone like her style? I just can't seem to follow that.
For her, it is good that you and others like her show or she would not be on the air. She does have a following and fans.

OK, this will shock everyone I'm sure.
I like Michael Savage. Although I detest the influential Rush Limbaugh, I like Michael Savage.
But it's not how you think it is. It's not what he says but how he says it.
Perhaps it's that Brooklyn attitude. I just think he's the most gifted orator of them all. Plus it all seems to be original. When you flip the
channels it's the same everywhere. Perhaps on television he would be a failure but on the radio he's good.
P.S. I don't like the albino on CNN. Only his mouth moves.

I was being a little sarcastic with my Grace statement......I didn't cancel cable over her show.
Just never got into her show....she rubbed me the wrong way, but I'm sure she has her fans because she's on a major network nightly.

Haha, a closet Savage fan! I used to listen to him from time to time, not agreeing with his politics very often, but there was a certain comedy and
anger that I could relate to. I liked hearing about his boat. But I turned him off over his hatred of gays, plus I bought an iPod and found podcasts
were way better than terrestrial radio and the thousands of commercial breaks they take.

Actually I listen to both Limbaugh and Savage. I occasionally watch Fox news.
It is important to try and understand what they are saying and decipher why people listen to them. In a courtroom, where facts are required they
would never make it. They play upon people's insecurity and prejudice. They prey upon people who are not aware of the world around them.
I listen because I want to understand what they are saying to stir people up. The difference is I go back and try and substantiate their claims
(which most of the time can not be done).

I agree 100% with your post. I drop in on Rush from time to time just to better "know my enemy". It's painful to listen to - and harmful to the
listeners.

"Trees polluting" & Reagan-------I think he was referring to the CO2 he thought was emitted by "trees", considered a "pollutant" by some, and a
sarcastic humorist statement at best by Reagan (which he was known for---like Alan Simpson). Unfortunately he got it wrong as trees emit O2, I
believe. Most lefties have scant humor in their psychi (sp?) it would seem, and are incredibly unforgiving of Republicans mistakes or gafs (tho they
forgive everybody else :rolleyes .
All those other folks you mention???? Love em, but some are more lovable than others. Nixon's personality left me cold, but one smart dude.
(check it out) Like many "smart" people, he was ignorant in certain areas, brilliant in others. Heck, I even like Clinton (Bill, not Hillary), but
his politics are "out there" which his latest book "BACK TO WORK" just illustrated. Read every word, and it changed my whole favorable attitude
towards him. He is a sincere loony-leftie too, apparently!!! helping out "the cause". I partially blame Hillary for that!!!
Don't be fooled---- I am a commited Conservative to my bones, but I hope a "reasonable" Conservative, and not a right-wing loon!!! (tho you have to
move-right to offset the radical-left)
(Sorry DK, we have totally ruined your thread)

Glad you asked! This is how you make an 'o' with an accent mark:
Alt + 162 = ó

Glenn Beck today. Muslim Brotherhood has infiltrated our government to the point that all Middle East Ambassadors are really just conduits for the
president (who is really a Muslim) to radical Islamic extremist organizations.
I didn't have to try and verify this one.
