Phil and I will be at Alfonsinas in Gonzaga Bay the late afternoon/evening of Saturday the 28th. For a freq. I usually monitor 151.625 weatherman
during races. I can bring my CB radio and monitor ch 19 or any other on the CB band. Frenweh you make a decision on a radio freq. and I'll setup mine
to monitor it. I have CB, VHF, GMRS and FRS radios. Otherwise I'll look for you at the Palapas at Agua Verde.

Leaving in the AM will see XRPhil, JohnM and Squarecircle in Gonzaga Sat. evening and the rest in Agua Verde Monday evening. David K wish you were
coming who knows what mission we might happen upon. The gods be with us.

This sure looks like a fun and challenging trip . . . but outside the capability of my rig :-(
Have fun guys and gals. I'll be content reading your trip report(s).

If it's outside the capacity of your rig, Art, I'd best stay home.

Steve, I should restate . . . Capacity of my rig and mine as a 4x4 driver. You're too humble about the capability of your 4Runner - after all it's a
Toyota and according to DK Toyotas are the best I've seen you drive out
of deep sand without any traction aids / lockers, I was impressed with your accelerator pedal control!!!
Also, last I checked there's no viable device to shrink a 26-ft monster into a Jeep-sized trail rig. Steep climbs/drops are no problem, it's the sharp
switchbacks and narrow passes that worry me most.
Steve, after this trip please let me know if my rig could negotiate the Timbabichi. It could be worse than the Mision Sta Maria Widowmaker.
Have fun all - Zully, Alberto and Jorge. I forget those boys are already teenagers.

Nothing is worse than the Widowmaker and the Bog, just beyond!
Your former motorhome would be fine Art, this full size 'house on wheels' you now have is , well, not real trail worthy I am affraid. I do hope you
get some real big tires on it so you can drive on Shell Island with IT!

That's what you and all others said about my old motorhome for the Widowmaker before I proved you otherwise ;-)

I'm with you on this one, Art. Not because I've seen your current rig in action but rather, because I've seen you in action on your current rig. If
you have faith that you can get through something, no matter what you're driving, my money's on you, Baby!

Anxiously waiting for trip reports. Road logs (in DK's style) and lots of pictures and videos of the difficult maneuvers on the trail to the palapa
would be great. Thanks.

Hi guys,
I'm still stuffed from the fish fry at the Pinto Derby.
I'm in Loreto right now and will leave soon for AV.
See you there at the palapa
