Cooling off at Augie's yesterday..Loreto

HOW HOT IS IT?

IT'S DAMN HOT OUT THERE!

I took a road trip to Loreto yesterday..whew, HOT-HOT-HOT!

It's so hot I saw two mesquite trees fighting over a dog.

Sooo...a stop at Augies on the Malecon in Loreto for some iced michelada's!

Muchas gracias, senorita!

Hhmmm,

I need to check that out....

Next door is the Sea Coffee, my favorite WiFi spot in Loreto. Good Java and a friendly place to touch base.

Yes, very unseasonably hot this past weekend. We were in Lake Havasu for the boat show and it was 110 degrees.

Haven't had a bad trip yet....

Ouch!...110 degrees on the Colorado River? Whoa! That's too darn HOT!!

...I'm planning on heading that way for a week or so of striped bass fishing and some casino poker at the AVI Resort just south of Laughlin, Nevada. I sure hope it cools off...or it'll be bimini time for sure in my open boat.

It was cooler on the water.

Here's a pic of an anonymous boat making bait yesterday morning off Danzante.
