Hear, hear, I second that! Great trip, lots of good memories and new friends.

I third it. Great trip. For me it was 4 days of camping and 3 nights in a motel. I put 2200 miles on my Tacoma. Lots and lots of dirt roads and steep
hills. Worth every minute of it. I'll do my trip report in next few days after I unpack and unwind.

Great trip for me as well. Sill unwinding and dealing with the work that piles up after 11 days of vaca. (not to mention a good case of the revenge).
Got some good pics., met some new friends and saw some parts of Baja that few will ever see, unless they're as crazy as our bunch.
Trip report to follow.

Did anyone do a road log for this trip like the one I posted for the San Isidro/Mulege mountain route. If so I would really like to see it. If not
I'll have to catch Phil at his restaurant and force myself to put away some of that Cajun grub while pouring over maps. I was in Mulege and
Loreto/San Javier while you guys were doing this trip but was on my 31 year old Honda 750 which isn't much of a trail bike.

Put some knobbies on it and it would have made it, no sweat. No road log in our vehicle, sorry, next time.

I didn't keep a road log but I did go to Google Earth and plotted the course I think we took from San Antonio to the graded road near the cattle
ranch. From there we joined the road to Timbabichi.

My first ride down Baja was 38 years ago on a 1973 CB750 so somehow it just made sense to do it again on a vintage 750. This time my 1981 model. The
old bike performed perfectly. I rode from Arroyo Grande to Mulege, Loreto, and up to San Javier and put a total of 2500 miles on the odometer. Great
ride!

I would not recommend the route we took shown above with the ? because there are a few places where the trail was a little hard to see and find
without getting out and looking around. Karl's persistances kept us on track. I suggest taking the route marked Rd to AV. From the top of the mtn out
of AV to where we joined the road to Timbabichi I showed 60 miles. Some was from backtracking. It was another 35 miles from there to Timbabichi. Then
again if getting a little lost is OK go for it.

I've ridden the peninsula on a Honda CB750 (as well as a CB450, boy, talk about tingly hands from the vibrations!), too, but didn't do much trail
riding. I do remember how much it liked to lay down of the slippery tideflats at Conchalito, though.
