Baja Cats - Y'alls Can Make As Much Fun of Me as You Wish
We have two cats hat live in our garage. The female is twelve years old - we captured her early on and took her to the vet for shots, spaying and to
fix her hernia.
The male has lived in our garage for a year. He yells for food and swats at us with his claws and bites when we try to pick him up.
Today, he was crouching under a car near our house, crying; I ran outside to find out what was going on.
Well, it was his version of. "Ha,ha joke" as he scampered away to an unfinished home next door and ran up to the third floor.
But you can bet, the minute that I show up with canned cat food fpr dinner in the garage, he will be rubbing up against me and purring.

this is Sumo y Silly. Sumo is the big boy on the left and Silly is the (now) bigger girl on the right. we got Sumo from the pound 7 years ago and
within a month there was a little black gatita the size of a beer can coming around the front door.

long/short i trapped the little Silly in a squirrel cage, took her to the vet for her shots, and let her go in the house. Sumo was peeed! he thought
the house was his but ultimately, Silly came to know her place in the house, who was boss, and now 5 years later will jump on the bed at EXACTLY
5:15am to walk the length of the bed and let me pet her as she bumps into the headboard.... i dunno, she's a crazy cat and won't tolerate any other
human interaction unless the sun is not up yet....
LOVE THEM!

Call me foolish but I have learned to trust animal lovers a bit more than the other segment of humanity. Mil gracias for putting a smile on my face

gypsy jan - you made me laugh ! the things we do for our 4 legged amiguitos .... I laughed imagining him scampering away as you went to see if he
was OK LOL
here is our beloved Rex - he is no Baja adoptee - we actually went to England to pick him us as he was a gift from les's best friend .. this dog has
so much personality, it just amazes me ... altho' I was against getting a dog at first since we travel quite a bit, now I simply cannot imagine how
life would have been these last 6 years without him ... and we are so lucky to have neighbors who simply adopt him when we travel .. and then proceed
to inform us tht he was changed his name to ARCE VILLAVICENCIO and now only speaks Spanish

His one biggest quirk ???? he will NOT come when called ....

Offer Rex a ball when you want him to come with very specific wording and then slowly ween him off the ball.
If that doesn't work, buenas suerte.

Blanca, Your Rex is such a cool dog, he reminded me of our Springer "Patches" who grew up with our kids - she was potty trained along with our son
Lucas.
