Here is the latest info. There will be several regatta style kayak races and kayak exhibitions, such as roll overs, and ??? The champion kayak racer / trainer for the state of BCS will be bringing his team and students and 2-3 international champs will try to make the event. Races and demonstrations start between 3 and 4. You MAY see kayakers from Cuba and the USA. Greet and meet the racers is from 1-4 and food will be served from 1-4 also. The menu is 3 fish tacos, cabbage salad, beans, and flavored water ( similar to kool aid) for $50. This and future events are sponsored by the Corona Company. Pacifico is $15, as well as the other Corona products. Jorge Yee, the owner of the water / beer /propane store under the bridge is one of the organizers and you can buy a meal ticket there or at the event. Jorge, his wife, doctors and medical personal from the clinic have been running these charity events for the past 3 - 4 months. They are all volunteers and 100% OF THE RAISED FUNDS GO TO CHARITY. They have helped the poor in general, as well as specific personas in need of medical attention. The group is called Mulege en Movimiento A. C.

Save some AC and come on down, meet some local people, break bread with some amigos, (break tortillas?) and lend a hand to the community.
