got home last night from BOLA/Pac Side. 15 minute wait at otay @ 8pm.
highlight of the trip wasn't really a highlight, but it was pretty stressful. got a flat tire and plugged it and the plugs (3) failed within 20 miles.
put on the spare. second flat within 30 miles. 2 cuts along the edge of the tread on the second tire. 6 plugs in each cut and one of them wouldn't
hold air. put last 3 plugs in first flat and hobbled to san agustin and bought a cruddy spare and had the first flat patched.
we left the beach at 7am and home by 9pm. sleep came fast last night.
P.S. howz Dennis?

You still running BFGs, aren't you? I remember the 2001 trip I took in my first Tacoma with BFG Rugged Trail TAs... I think I got 6 flats, all from
rocks on that trip to La Paz.

No celebrations here
Still stuck in Canada with my wife's relatives that are all worn out from the 3 day celebration of Canada Day.

Toyo Open Country ATs or another model AT ??
Mine lasted 35,000 miles, and I don't like them getting too thin, so I replace them early. Cooper Discoverer ATRs also were good and lasted the same.
I am really enjoying my Hankook Dynapro ATMs, 20,000 miles on them and they are looking great. Mine are the lighter P rated ones, but you can get them
in LT and pay more, but have a harder tire that should last much longer.

HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY For The U.S.A. !!!
The American Revolutionary War was a series of incredible blunders, wishful thinking and hope. The dream was for liberty and justice, and the dream
remains unsullied, if largely forgotten.
