Coming at ya Shari right in time for preliminary surf sessions . Our water jumped up, finally, with Emilia. What's tuna? Let's hope it happens. Tio

Yeah baby....we are looking forward to Favio bringing warmer water our way. The yellowtail season has begun over a month early this year which is most excellent indeed...problem is the last 2 storms have brought a pretty big south swell making it tough to launch and haul out the panga for fishing and is making shore fishing dang near impossible...lucky halibut.

the offshore storms have made it pretty warm here lately...air temps in the mid 80's when the fog isnt present...warm air and cold water make fog...keeps the air temps more pleasant though....but makes painting our new rooms impossible....manana!

doubt it. maybe a TS or a TD as this will be by then. once Fabio crosses 20N he will start to degrade in the cooler waters.

Everybody's favorite surf forecasting website -- Surfline -- isn't too hot on this storm. Looks pretty weak to me.

granted, it isn't blowin 180mph and will be falling apart in the next 24 hours, but it is following a course that has fallen out of favor for a few years....

The tropical storm wind field, according to Noaa, is 10 miles wider than daniel or Emelia at their Max. Given that, and the forecasted turn northward have me slightly more hopeful that north county will see more than from The previous 2.

Cause it has been a pretty meager summer. My shortboard has not been wet for far too long

Big, no no 4-6plus hard moving, closely packed swell moving north against our point. But, there were some big shoulders and deep drops, lefts, and a few rights! Hard to get out over the newly formed sandbars!! A young man'sday for short boards. Rolling thunder storms with a little rain down here; hopefully the mtns gettin mas. Three in a row and it's suddenly summer. Mas Pacificos, por favor. Tio

If you Google it they have some great old footage of boats trying to get into the harbor during this storm.

sunny sunny sunny and perfect air temps here in Asuncion...moderate 6' swell and the water may have warmed a degree or so but not what we'd hoped.
