Your Favorite Hangover Remedy And Treatment?

Start it off with this W.C. Fields quote"

In response to a waiter who'd offered him a "Bromo Seltzer" for a hangover, Fields said

"Ye Gods, no! I couldn't stand the noise."

In my younger and wilder days, a virgin Bloody Mary did the trick for me.

In those days I drank other spirits instead of tequila.

“The only cure for a real hangover is death.” ― Robert Benchley

Not sure if this is a real quote but it definitely makes sense.

In college, i used a nice hangover remedy that only involves two illegal ingredients.

Wake up first and drink some water. Then water with two tabs of Alka Seltzer:
You either upchuck or hold it down. Both feel great afterwards.

Then take a hit of nice seedy Mexican sativa to calm your stomach

Then eat a B-complex vitamin with more water

Then do a line of good (80% pure) cocaine to wake you up.

Now you can take a shower, turn on the A/C, AND GO BACK TO BED FOR THE DAY.

If you're over 50, substitute "fortnight" for "DAY"

B-complex and three aspirin with water, the night before.

Then, tomato juice and whole wheat toast in the morning.

My favorite Dorothy Parker quote
"I like to have a martini,
Two at the very most.
After three I’m under the table,
after four I’m under my host."

Oh, and this one! ... "You can lead a horticulture, but you can't make her think."

Night before, before going to bed = 2 aspirin (the real stuff, not Tylenol or ibuprofin) + as much water as you can get down

Morning after = freshly squeezed orange juice (the real stuff, not frozen, from concentrate or out of a carton) over ice, sip slowly over 30 mintues.
