Once the guvnor takes a drive on the road from Vizcaino to the BA turn-off, I'll bet the road will be repaired by the end of August!

Great to see those photos Bajatripper.
It was nice to meet Blanca and Les in La Bocana... and a yummy lunch, thank you!
Today was nice to not have any long drive and sleep in too!
Wow, the Rock Room at Juan and Shari's B & B is ultra comfortable... Great bed, great views, great evening sounds (sea lions and waves)... it was
hard to get motivated today.
Shari made us lobster omelets for breakfast and that was great for the whole day! We had fun four wheeling out in the desert today and taking photos
of fossils... that are everywhere!
Tomorrow we are back on the road and we may go to Mision Santa Gertrudis (founded in 1752), Pozo Aleman, San Francisquito, Bahia de los Angeles, +...
??

Which patio would you like to eat on? How bout desayuno under the rock room arches...

Happy Hour on our patio

and some baja talk in the evening in our new "Dolphin Room"
It's been fun hearing about the various trips they have done and mission history.

HOLA TODOS! WE MADE IT HOME TONIGHT (SAT.) Day 15 (I think?) of our nearly 3,000 mile Baja Vacation.
It was a blast (and a half), and great Nomads were a big big part of that! Thank you so much, our amigos in Baja!
A HUGE trip report will be forthcoming and just trying to pick out which photos of the OVER 1,000 will not be easy!
We are pooped out, and heading to bed... but I wanted to let you know the trip was great, and almost no issues (just a flat tire near Coco's Corner,
and mosquitoes were annoying)... No issues with Cd. Constitucion (both times, either!!
Stay Tuned (to the Nomad Baja Trip Reports Forum)...

Welcome back DK..........we were probably crossing the border a few hours apart from each other. Glad to hear your only troubles were a tire and a
bit of nature - mosquitos! Pictures look great. Can't wait to see 1000 more. I want to go to La Bocana and Asuncion..........

Oh, and one of my favorite Baja activities is the Spanish missions... so on this trip we stopped at and visited the following mission sites:
Calamajue, La Paz, San Jose del Cabo, Santiago, Ligui... and 'passed by' without stopping at San Ignacio, Mulege, Loreto and Todos Santos.
