Segundas
How are the segundas in your neighborhood? After haunting Guerrero Negro and finding really disappointing segunda inventory (I mean little more than
refugees from the chatarra heap) I am hopefully headed for more fertile ground. I miss my slow cooker. Can't find a stupid plastic ladle with drain
holes even brand new!
Are the segundas doing well in Punta Banda, Loreto and the cape region? There must be "Segunda Heaven" somewhere, right?

PB isn't much of a center for Segundas, although Ensenada is. There are entire neighborhoods that have morphed from residential to Segundas.
Always fun to scrounge through the Segundas.

get a drill and install some holes..... as for the slow cooker, they are cheap new at places like Walmart. make a list and ask for a delivery from
someone headed your way.

All of the segundas across from the airport in Ensenada make weekly trips to the garage sales and thrift shops in the US. Always new mechcandise.

sequndas in Loreto are overpriced and probably the same type stock you are looking at up there. however the Sunday market is usually pretty good as
far as 'stuff' and prices are concerned. nothing compares to thrift shops NOB however.
reality\'s never been of much use out here...

we really enjoyed the Sunday market in Loreto - huge and full of stuff. quite the variety.
here in la bocana we have no permanent segunda. I sure do miss perusing stores NOB
Ensenada and Rosarito are the biggies ... not sure about further south of Loreto.

Lots of Segundas in Insurgentes, Constitucion and LaPaz.
All expensive for used stuff, but they did haul it all the way down here!

Ensenada segundas
DavidE..... although many local neighborhoods have a few segunda shops, the two areas where they are concentrated in Ensenada are along Highway 1
(Reforma) across from the airport/Air Force Base, and Los Globos, which is three blocks east of Reforma on 9th street.

Actualmente, Terry, the largest, to my knowledge is two or three city blocks of segundas up in the north east corner of town on Bronce or
Ambar....forget which,but it's way out by the dam.

Shop at segundas all the time in La Paz; they're all over the place. It's a hobby. Furnished 1/4 of my casita with their stuff. Actually got stuff
that is hard to find in retail stores. If you look long and hard enough, you can find decent quality.

There are some great Segundas in Vizcaino and in Santa Rosalia, you go all the way through town, come to the 4 lane arroyo road, and turn right. Go
about 4 blocks and they have lots of stuff set up on both sides of the road all the way to the Pepsi Plant or the Soccer field. There is also a good
one on the 4 lane when you first turn. (If you went straight you would end up at the Telmex office or El May store.
