How to dial a U.S 800 phone number from Mexico

to dial a U.S. number from Mexico simply change the 1 800 to 01 880 then dial the rest of the number. this works most of the time if not then change to 01 888 and try again this will git you to the number you need. but it wont be toll free they will charge just like a regular long distance phone call.

This is how we have our customers call there bank card company's when they have trouble with there cards.it works most of the time.

I hope this helps some Nomads. please let me know if it does.:bounce:

Just remember that for each U.S. 800 # (888, 877, 866), you have to change it further. For example, a U.S. 888 number becomes 881, etc.

If I need to call my credit card company, I dial 090 and tell them it is a collect call.
