Tecate Border

Sunday before last when we crossed at Tecate in our M.H. they asked if we had any Propane, when we got in secondary they had us drive out and back in then this agent came over and craweled around under the m.h. near the propane tank which is mounted permanetly then he opened the door and checked the tank with some kind of sniffer I guess. in 15 years of crossing in all kinds of rv's of which most had Propane tanks this was a first. I was wondering if anyone has experinced this and why. When I asker they offered no reason:?::?::?:

Propane tanks have for a long time been used to smuggle drugs and there was a recent bust at the border [I think] for exactly that.
