Stop the trolling and stop the provocations. Nobody is envious and nobody's "delicate sensibilities" have been hurt.
What was stated was that for one group of people to wait 5 hours in line and another to be wisked to the head is unfair. Just respond to the statement

You are taking this way too seriously! But seriously, we bikers do have more fun.
And as to the original post: the words "motorcyclist" and "etiquette" are generally considered to be mutually exclusive. I am the exception to that
of course. I will be sure to wave at any car or truck with a Nomads sticker as I go past you in line.

a naked man on a bicycle can't hide anything. a clothed fat man on a large motorcycle with travel bags can carry 300+ pounds of meth. what about
skeet's naked dope smokers on motorcycles?

A little Christian charity is just what this thread needs, thank you for that. As to Skeet's observation, if you were around Big Sur in about 1968-9
you might have seen a naked dope smoking motorcyclist and it might have been me. My memory of those days is hazy but I was there, did ride, and did
sometimes partake of the evil weed. Now, all these years later, I have gotten old and respectable and have earned the right to preach to others about
the evils of their ways.

Kurt, you know, and Gregg...I had to give up my DR 650 for the nephrologist. I highly recommend the Kenda 270 Dual Sport tires. For a hundred bucks a
set, I could afford the slightly limited mileage. I learned to really trust those tires in a lot of different situations! A brother has his second
set on his KTM 640. Loves em. I loved mine in Baja.

With my luck I'd get stuck behind this guy while they searched his "nooks and crannies".... not a vision I want stuck in my head for the rest of the

Who is that gnarly adventure dude in that pic? He sure looks like a guy who is prepared for almost anything....carrying all that excess crap 
If I rode with a guy like that, I would hope he would at least slow down from time -to-time to let the bald old farts catch up...

Went through several sets of those Kendas, cheap and worked just fine. Now I'm using the Shinko 700 which are proving to last a little longer and are
about the same price. actually, I lied a bit about the DR650, it belongs to Kathy but she lets me ride it from time to time. I'm in the process of
putting together one for myself, got a frame with a bad motor and a motor from a wrecked bike that I am rebuilding. Going to make it a little more
dirt oriented than the KLR.

Don't know, never got his name but when I finally caught up with him he had his camp set up on the beach with a 2 room tent, easy-up awning, full camp
kitchen and was cooking a nice corvina that he had caught from his inflatable boat. As if that wasn't enough, after dinner he did a top end job on his
bike and put his extra rear tire on my bike for me as mine was starting to chunk knobs. He was definitely prepared for anything

First of all, thank you for changing the substance of this thread as it has taken a lot of heat off of me. 
I just voiced my opinion and was referred to as the following:

I always slide out to the right and work my way down to the post and then slide into line when I'm on my motorcycle. No ones ever said anything to me
or flipped me off so its always seemed cool. When I've been in my truck and sitting in line and a motorcycle slips by I'm always wishing I was on my
bike.

I know that sometimes it's hard to detect playfulness and irony in a cold medium like the internet.
But, I don't mind if some Nomads misunderstand the conversation, it's easier to figure out than trying to decipher texts like OMG and LOL and YOLO
