Any one have a favorite RV place in Loreto and La Paz that is actually opened, with reasonable monthly rates? Thanks

Well, you don't really have that much of a choice. The good news, in my opinion, is Rivera del Mar RV park in Loreto. It is in the $18 a day range
with full hook ups, kept up pretty nice, family owned and operated. Bathrooms are clean with some trees for shade. They do have monthly rates but I
do not know the amount. Breakfast if good and they have washers and dryers available. About a 20 minute walk to town. There is one other place in
town, Loreto Shores, but in my opinion, not as nice.
As far as La Paz goes, I believe there is only one place, Campestre Maranatha RV Park
and it is just outside of town on the main highway just North of the airport turn off. Stayed there 3 weeks ago, $20 a night, very basic but they did
have a swimming pool.
There is camping out on the point but it is dry camping and can tend to get very windy.

We stayed there almost a year while we were building our house and the monthly rate was $300 winter, $360-summer (because of the A/C) This was
2010-2011. Nice place, friendly people.

I heard good reports of the Riviera del Mar this month, but haven't stayed there. We stayed at the Loreto shores last year. It's secure and a bit
tricky to get to, but has easy access to a beach. It was $25 for one night.

There is also the Tripui RV Park in Puerto Escondido, but I don't know much about it, other than it is also secure and in a quiet area. There is a
small hotel and a small store there.
On the Road in Mexico

I also highly recommend the "Rivera del Mar" trailer park.....
Yolanda Vallejo Estrada and her family run a safe, secure and reasonably priced park; I stayed there when I was building for a year as well, and I
could safely leave my trailer in the park when I was back in the US working.
The $300.00 per month fee is correct.

Been there. Nothing special. Note that the 1st photo in the link (under the word Bienvenidos) shows the villas making the perimeter of the park to the
left and right of the beach gate. The RV park is an enclosed yard with 2-storeyed villas and gate on the beach side, and chain-link fence with another
gate from the street. You can see the street gate on the 2nd photo, it is normally wide open during a day, anybody can come in, and sometimes there
are no people in the office or anywhere around. So the security is a so-so. Those 2-storeyed villas are blocking the sea view completely, and the
inside of park is a dusty and dull place. The beach is muddy and shallow.
There is a swimming pool, though. The town center is about 20-30 minutes walk.
One problem (which I consider a big one, and it probably concerns the neighboring park too, don't remember the name) - dogs and a chicken farm across
the street. The park is practically in town, the street runs along the rear chain-link fence. Chickens are living a miserable life in small cages and
make a heck of a noise from dawn to dusk. In the night the dogs will entertain you - some lone car passing by, some dog barks, another one answers,
and after the car is long time gone, they are still barking at each other. Then 20 minutes later another car comes, and so on...

Yep! That's what you get in any town in Mexico. Chickens and barking dogs, that's why I live 5 km out of town.

Well you got all the info you need. I just like to put my 2 pesos in and like to vow for maranatha campestre near La Paz. No other choice as services
comprice, but they are nice! Excellent size pool, good showers and full hook-up it you like. You can take the b us to town. Cinthia will tell you what
time it stoppes in front of the campground. Close to Wall-Mart, airport etc.
I found the beach at the Loreto Shores camground quite dirty when we were there last time. Rivera Del Mar is the better place with friendly people and
closer to town.

Rivera del Mar RV Park is probably your best bet in Loreto for the price. The WIFI is free, laundry facilities on site, very clean restrooms and as of
two weeks ago the Restaurant is open from 8 AM to 4 PM...Good breakfast and lunches Mon thru Sat...The Loreto Shores RV Park is over priced at $25 a
day, plus WIFI is extra. The Pool is for the permanent residences only, so don't plan to use their pool..((You will be asked to leave))...The RV Park
in La Paz (Maranatha Campestre) is actually the only one left in the La Paz area that is suitable for extended stays. Most RV Parks in Baja will give
you very good monthly rates if you ask for them..

Rivera del Mar is not on the waterfront, as I recall. It's a short walk, though. A couple of blocks.
