Thanks Wiley!
This time around they are racing with the "FULL SIZED" cats. The crews needed to get the feel of cats and therefore they were racing the preliminaries
in smaller boats.
This should really be a wild one!
I used to race Hobie 16's the world-over and know the cat feel.

Bruce, I agree. But have you seen any of the on-board video shot on the smaller cats? Amazing stuff!!
With the new video technology, and the race car acceleration of the new boats it should be pretty exciting stuff to watch.

I agree Bruce. I think they should have races in both categories. I believe Connors was the one with the first cat in the race. Shouldn't have been
allowed in my view.

........funny,,I'm a passionate sailboat racer,,,but -never- have I heard sailboat racing referred to as a 'spectator' sport!!!
...the AC is what it's always been,,,the NASA of sailboat racing,,with a great trickle-down of technology,,,,,and those 72'cats with hydofoils and
solid wing sails do seem to generate some interest from the non-sailor spectrum
......if you want to go into incredible depth over AC,,here's a forum that's -completely- focused on AC ....... http://forums.sailinganarchy.com/index.php?showforum=23
