Whales at Lopez Mateos - Sunday, March 24
There were dozens of gray whales lolling about in and around Boca de Soledad yesterday making ready for the long trip north and entertaining those on
hand to bid them farewell.

sweeeeet!!! The girl with the long hair's smile says it all! Hey Bill, maybe I can get some photo ID's from you. When you have some time, can you crop
some pics 4X1.5 inches of the dorsal hump area of the whales for a catalogue? And anyone else who has pictures that may be used for the ID catalogue
would be welcome as well. It helps to have the date with it and if the animal had a calf or was solo.
Here is an example of a photo ID shot...we identify whales by their markings of scar tissue and birthmarks. This gal is very easy to identify!

it is incredible that this poor lady survived such a nasty propeller injury...and she has a calf!

I deleted my post because you were not done posting your great pictures. Whales are always great to see, and I agree with shari about that one young
lady---what a beautiful girl having such a great time. I also love seeing how sturdy those boats are when everyone rushes to one side. :-)
We only went whale watching out of Lopez Mateos once and if we were closer, we would definitely go again.

Shari......I'll be happy to. Are you just interested in grays? PM your email address and tell me exactly what you want. I don't understand the 4 x
1.5 inches. Maybe that's the proportions on the digital photos?
