Up to 100%. It's time to start paying close attention to speed and direction of movement:

Hopefully, it will go like this:

The date on that page is May13. For some reason the Mex Govt stopped updating it. I really like that map with all the weather spelled out. I have looked for it but cant find it...maybe you can.

Well I'll tell ya, I'm not happy about the surf forecast. Another trip there, arriving a day after the swell peaked and departing the day the next swell is about to arrive. This is ridiculous.

I thought it didn't look right. it doesn't show the current disturbance at all.

Good eyes, Judy.

Soon to be Tropical Storm Cosme:

Stationary TD#3 is soon to be named Tropical Storm Cosme by the NHC, is located about 485 miles south of Manzanillo Mexico and continues to steadily develop. Upper-level winds are forecast to remain favorable for additional development over the next few days as it starts to move slowly off towards the WNW while tracking over warm waters. Right now this system looks to send Southern Baja, and portions of Mainland Mexico some decent sized surf, with the potential for some steep SE-SSE swell to show later on for some select So Cal exposures towards the end of the upcoming week. - Surfline.

My neighbors across the street just got back a couple hours ago from Scorp. They were one of three trucks camped on the bluff at 2nd point for a week. Had lots of waves and a grand time. His sons, 14 and 12, just started surfing last year and they could not wipe the grins off their faces telling me about their first surfing safari. Dad said the boys were in the water 10 hours a day or until the offshore blew them out the back. Good times!
