Dennis, maybe it is just that we're on one of our favorite "pray" species.

Oops, I speculate that you're not as bright as I thought. I don't take your speculation seriously, and certainly didn't expect anyone to take my
speculation seriously. But you did. Your generalized response is duly recorded.

Thanks for sharing your fantasy: it says WAY more about you than it does the victim of this crime...

Glad that I can provide some insight.

 Willy,
That makes sense, as most psychopaths have no regard for others or their own effect on them....and greatly overestimate their own sense of importance.

| I'm Happy to be of Service

Giving those in the PC-Brigades a target affirming Their version of societal propriety.

And, performing said service as a Charitable offering.

Allowing them to imagine an enhanced level of self-worth via their dislike without actually affecting much of anything.

Although my shoulders are not that broad, I can (with determination) withstand the weight of such a demanding task.

 Hopefully.

 But, that's only speculating.

Let's ALL (as Dead Rodney Said) "Get Along" ?

 Peace.

I'm way late on this, but here goes anyway. It would seem from what the young lady in question has posted since being rescued that perhaps those who
said she wasn't exactly an innocent victim may have been correct in their speculation. I read her interaction on the Internet in the two days after
her rescue and find her actions don't seem to support the idea of her being a victim. She doesn't seem to be grieving at all over the loss of her
brother and mother.

'Tripper, I will support your observation, and suggest that her actions today may very well be the RESULT of her having been victimized by a predatory
adult.

It could be as simple as Stockholm Syndrome, the FBI says it effects almost 30% of kidnap/hostage victims.

And yes, it could be that the young lady made her own share of mistakes, but I am willing to fault an adult predator (he presumably accepted her
inappropriate attention) before I will indict an adolescent female with a crush on an older male. Even if this IS the first time that ever happened to
a teen aged girl.

The fact that the kidnapper was a homicidal arsonist sort of adds to the possibility that he also may have been a child molester.
His values seem to be out of step with the bulk of America. I will stop just short of lumping him with the "Toddlers in Tiaras" promoters of this sort
of thing who parade tiny girls, dressed like prostitutes, often clearly against their wishes, before audiences of adults.

Yesterday on the news they said information they seized with a warrant released information that the young lady in question and the suspected
abductor had 13 telephone transmissions between each other the day of the crime.

It wouldn't be the first time.........there have been several cases where the "victim" was a willing participant. It would be interesting to know more
about the phone calls between the two

Since there will be no trial with the suspect dead, the contents of the letters and any further phone information can't be kept sealed forever.

 Interesting.

So you think there will be no trial. Once they satisfy that she MAY have had a role in the crime my money says there will be.
