ALERT ALERT. Juliette has formed very close to Los Cabos

Definitely looks like rain right now.
They are calling for tropical storm force rain and wind tonight in BCS.
So don't put those mops away yet.

The water sure seemed cooler this morning. Maybe just because it is so cloudy.

The cool weather sure has been nice, 81º and overcast here right now, with a pleasant breeze off the ocean.

I think I got a preview of what is coming your way, yesterday and the day before just poured here in Oaxaca. The Sun is out today, but I am still
hanging out in sweat pants and socks at mid day.
Anyway, here's hopin for a good soaker without wind for home.

The rooftops of Mulege got a good pounding this morning after a cooler-than-usual night with clouds and lightning. The dirt roads are again mud
puddles and all the kids in high school got the day off.

three inches in the house from last storm, and the lagoon is filled to the top. more rain on the way. frig, washer dead, but have a small borrowed
one and ac/electricity and water. sandbagged in. am more fortunate than many in my area AV, Loreto Bay, Nopolo, Loreto), so no complaints.
batten down, stay safe.

rhintransit, I was wondering if you made it home and how your place did with this last rain, sounds like you got kind of hit there, but your attitude
prevails the damages.

That little blob just became 100 o/o chance of becoming a tropical depression
AND it is just few miles south of me here in San Jose.
If you are in Los Cabos, get ready for some rain and wind....possibly tropical storm strength.

It's in there - tap the 123 key to switch to numbers, then tap the #+= key to get more symbols. Also pressing and holding down on some keys brings up
more options.

Tropical storms named Juliette tend to raise the fine hairs on the back of my neck. Last time a Juilette came to town, she kicked the holy tar out of
us. Ay, yi, yi!!!!! I will be watching from afar.

Thanks Judy for the heads up. We are getting our boat to the Marine in La Ribera. Winds picking up, seas are nasty, no rain yet but we see it coming.
 We are in Buena Vista

I noticed at the bottom of the written forecast statement that projections of more than 5 days are only "experimental" in 2013.

My understanding is that anything over 5 days is experimental.

Just thinking that any storm that formed so high in latitude has no chance of growing big enough to do more than drop rain.
