Jesus Christ Birthday Celebration at the Buena Vida Orphanage!
Dear Baja Nomad Friends,
During the upcoming days I will be delivering items donated by the Anza Baptist Church to the 29 children at the Buena Vida Orphanage. My hope is to
pray with these kids and to teach them the history of the birth of Jesus Christ and to worship God, sing, dance and celebrate Christmas.
Thank you for all your support in helping the kids enjoy Christmas as a true celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ. Also, I will be delivering
toys donated by the Cheers for Children organization and items from Corazon de Vida.
Thank you God Almighty for making this possible and for allowing others and me to worship and celebrate and honor Your name.
May God Bless You!

I think it is wonderful that people want to provide better opportunities for disadvantaged children.
I also think it is unfortunate that religious indoctrination is the entry price.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indoctrination
I think it is great to act from "Christian" ideology and apply the principles....but I don't think those folks need to "carry the banner" and expect
others to "join the club".
What would the difference be if a Muslim, a Jew, or a Buddhist offered such support and then tried to convert those they gave to?
Just sayin' ...

Just don't go, don't donate....it's that easy.
Why you insist on dragging agenda driven ideology into this is beyond me.
You can choose to be indoctrinated or not....your choice.
No one is going to grab you and put prayer beads around your neck and anoint you with fine sandalwood oil.
I missed those entrance requirements where you have to stop and bow down, pray to the east, shoulder up a banner or join any club.
These people appear to provide help for in-trouble kids and here you are bashing the "faith" in it all...spouting some politically correct views.
Religious based or not.....it's all good.

| Where are they giving the kids any choice? It appears to me that they'd be a captive audience.

Some religious teachings never hurt anyone, other than those who decry religion as a whole.
Those young kids are more than likely Catholic to begin with and who really cares if they get some care and feeding with some oil of myrrh and a
smattering of frankincense thrown in.
Disclaimer:....I am not at all religious but I believe in religious freedom and the right to pursue whatever it is their pursuing.

They feed kids in-need everyday. If the price for 3 hots and a cot is preaching and school work, so be it. These guys are making a difference in those
kids lives. I'm not sure about some here, but most folks would say good job.
Sister Brenner passed today and nobody has paid much attention ether. I guess that is very telling about many Nomads.

I applaud your efforts -- up to telling these kids they are sinners and need redemption. They are innocent children in need of help. Jesus'
birthday? If there is a supreme being -- do you think he'd want to be worshipped on his birthday? Who wants that?
Sorry.
Don't mean to offend anyone.

I am just opposed to religious imperialism....of ANY religion:
https://wikis.nyu.edu/ek6/modernamerica/index.php/Imperialism/ReligiousImperialism
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Missionary
Not sure it helped the Pericu, Guaycura, Cochimi....
It is a good thing to help the kids.....why have strings attached? It's not in the true "Christian" spirit.....although the story-tellers made up the
bit about Jesus telling people to "go and make disciples of all nations..." (The Great Commission thing).
Don't believe everything you think....

Feel free to start your own and run it your way. These guys are making a difference, are you? I am not choosing to support but they are doing far good
then bad.
I used to believe Columbus discovered America and that Santa brought Xmas gifts. I learner the truth later.
