Finding Vintage Race Results

I was able to find vintage Baja 500/1000 results from 1968-80; but does anyone know how to find Score Riverside off-road championships results? I was interested in years 1974-79. I was hoping that someone on this forum would know. Thanks!

I have the class winners lists from 1973-1976 from Riverside.

Something particular? I can scan them and email 'em to you.

You might check some of the race photographers sites, some go back to the 70s.

Those were some fun races... I think I was at them all 1974-1982? Watching Parnelli Jones race Rick Mears for the Class 1 victory was the best! Parnelli's motor began to smoke... but it was Rick Mears in the end!

Let me guess. That looks like page 257 from the Johnson and Grimms book The Off-Road Racer (1976).

Absolutely, I have pix of Mears & Bobby Ferro battling it out on Thompson's ridge, in the end it was Mears, I think 1976.

Thanks to all that answered. I hope I can contribute to this forum somehow. I do have 100's of photos taken by my pit crew of the short-courses I raced from 1976-79. Maybe posting them would be helpful to some.
