I am trying something new
Bourbon onion dip...will furnish recipe if it is any good. I am carmelizing the onions right now and my house smells like a distillery. The recipe came with a "keep the kids away" warning. Must be potent! I will try to tone it down with some carrots, celery, jicama crudités.

Pizza
Wings
Potato salad
Green salad
Key lime pie
All homemade

Go Broncos!

Chilean sea bass (Patagonian Toothfish), blackgill rockfish, swordfish, scallops & California halibut - all fresh, of course!

Almost forgot - I have a 5 lb box of Mexican U-12 shrimp also.

Teaming up with my neighbor to pull this off - fish will seasoned and either pan seared or grilled. Haven't figured out exactly what we are doing with the huge shrimp yet.

Mmmm, sounds tasty! Would almost rather be there than here in Colorado, you probably have a little less snow than we do!

Anxiously awaiting what Bob H is having........

I'm going to a SB party at a Greek guy's house who owns a very popular Greek restaurant in San Carlos; La Palapa Griega. He's cooking up a whole pig; not sure of his method.

But he refuses to let me bring any of my Buffalo-style wings. :fire:

Actually, they arent THAT hot...........but I do like wings with the pigskin on the tube. Not this year.

Bringing some wines, though, in case he tries to serve retch-sina.........

This is the cooks plan....I'm a gopher.

Cheese Plate - for wander-by casual snacking throughout the game...assortment of seasoned cheeses accompanied by fruit, crackers, and nuts.

Italian Bruschetta - to die for homemade herb crisps topped with balsamic glazed tomato salsa.

Stuffed sliders with real mustard .. mini almond patties filled with a sun-dried tomato blue cheese.

Nachos - frispy corn tortilla chips with guacamole, sweetened sour cream, black olives, marinated red onions, caramelized jalapenos

Homemade pepperoni pizza...thin crust & wrappable greasy

Buckets of iced Pacifico bottles....clamato, salted glass, & limes on the side.

I do what the voices in my tackle box tell me.

OK, those almond patties sound amazing........

You're not a gopher. You're our mole.

Your mission, should you decide to accept it, is to infiltrate this Super Bowl party, sample the almond patties, chat up the cook and get that recipe out of there on microfilm.

And then post it on Nomads!!

Can't wait for the super pot bowl! Willie Nelson singing the Star Spangled Banner. And the commercials, Bud lite vs Bud strong! I predict other states w/NFL teams will legalize it! Soon.
