Please take the inane socialism vs. capitalism chatter to off-topic.

Back to the cost of Mex. gas.

From an interesting article here: http://www.bajainsider.com/driving-baja/gaspricesmexico.htm

February 1 fuels prices rose again 9 centavos on Magna and 11 centavos on Premium and Diesel.

Each month of 2013 had seen an increase across the board of 11 centavos to bring Mexico's fuel prices in line with the rest of North America. But for
Baja customers the big jump will come January 1, 2014 when Baja IVA is increased to 16%. This will amount to a 59 centavo increase per liter or about
a 17 cent (USD) increase per gallon.

Compared to December of 2012, regular gasoline prices January 1, 2014 will be almost 60 cents per gallon higher.

Yeah, what is the price of Pemex gas and diesel these days?

Why do Liberals insist and demand that achievers pay the way for nonachievers who are to lazy to succeed, or are just failures by their own choice?
Criminals prefer unarmed victims, dictators prefer unarmed subjects.

Why do ignorant people continue their blabbering when it only proves to others how stupid they are.

So that is about $3.61/gal. (assuming 13 to 1 exch.) That's the same as it is in Calif, more than other states. Can we then assume that the monthly
price increases will now stop??

Since you have your calculator handy, the now exchange rate is 13.2888 to one. [that's without getting into the worn out discussion about differing
bank and cambio rates.]

According to my source of local info, the monthly price increase will continue.
