I hope so. Will sell the 86' F250 diesel. This one of Bill's is an Automatic. And 3 years newer . . . . Hope he hasn't sold it yet.

Who made the diesel engine in the 89 Fords? Was Navistar/International making them even way back then?

The idi engine was made by International and got a turbo around 1991. Good solid engine, not fast.

What about the cavitation issues with the sleeved cylinders of later years? Was it an issue back then? Were they using the SCA in the coolant back then?

Int. engine

Don't use anything different in the coolant
