We too love the unexpected aspect of life here. Yesterday afternoon we heard a loud band out on the street, we went to investigate, it was a "full
on" gay pride parade complete with cross-dressing drum majors in high heels. What a hoot. If it weren't so damn difficult to post a picture here I'd
download the video. Just gotta love it.
Every beautiful beach in the world needs a few condo towers - NOT.

This morning on my walk I thought about the US getting involved in another frigging war, or maybe just murdering people from drones. I then thought
about Mexico living and letting live. The things I like about Mexico are pretty much the things I dislike about the US but inversely. Living here
3 years, I am still learning, adjusting and accepting many of the good things of Mexico.

Waddaya mean, "more free?" Free from what?
"Mexico is no place for an organized mind." That's a conclusion which I've come to. [bumper stickers and plate frames coming soon]

And the bad? What do you do about those? [or, are you even aware of them?]
Threads like this invariably morph into frenzies of US bashing. This one is getting there and I'll be the first to loudly repel from it.

More "free" from incessant Government intervention, the obsessive rat race mentality… and traffic lights! Maybe topes aren't so bad after all?

Traffic lights are your friend.
It's only a rat race if you get into it.
If you think "government intervention" isn't an issue in Mexico[we might call it ineptitude], then you've pretty well avoided that rat race
and your issues are becoming self-healing.
Keep up the good work.

Down our way....the lack of rules and regulations. The people of the Baja are extraordinary friendly. Drive up to most any ranch and they will put you
up for the night....after feeding you.
Where can you find that in Ca.....
Old people are like the old cars, made of some tough stuff. May show a little rust, but good as gold on the inside.

Of course you do. Everyone strives for compliance with and from those they interact with. It's human nature........ it's survival of the
species...... a cornerstone of natural selection. It's social lubricant. How would man survive and advance if everybody was a bump on a stump?

Did I?
Do you realize these threads are dependent and formed upon comparisons between US and Mexico? Without this dichotomy, the concept of 'worst....best"
would be meaningless.
I didn't start this contest. Talk to Cliffy about it.

Yes, you did. There's a difference between the words "worst" and "best" vs. "most".
