Could you describe your practice? I'm assuming it would be similar to primary care physician, but I'm not familiar with medical practice in Mexico. If your patient needs referral to a specialist, how does that work?

Do you have hospital privileges? If so, which hospital? How does that work in Mexico?

I would refer you to the appropriate specialist. You would consider me a general practice physician, or primary care physician.

Most hospitals in Mexico have hospitalists that attend to patients like they do in the US. It is very rare for a primary physician to attend to the same patients in the hospital, as the medicine within the hospital is more emergent than an office visit. At the moment, I only see patients in my office.

Thanks, as long as I stay away from being a detective, I think the Nomad community will be more accepting....by the way...no, I better not go there.
