Windy, hot, dry... typical Santa Ana conditions here in San Marcos, CA.

raymond chandler on santa ana winds:

"There was a desert wind blowing that night. It was one of those hot dry Santa Anas that come down through the mountain passes and curl your hair and make your nerves jump and your skin itch. On nights like that every booze party ends in a fight. Meek little wives feel the edge of the carving knife and study their husbands' necks. Anything can happen. You can even get a full glass of beer at a c-cktail lounge."

watch out!

All of Bahia Todos Santos is covered with unhealthy air from the Ensenada / Ojos Negro fire. Wind is blowing out of the north east.

if you're noticing a lack of blowing sand and dirt its because of the low pressure vortex hovering inside my living room sucking in everything in sight. geeezo I just got finished cleaning up after the last east wind event!:(

Just leave it in there, sell all of your nice furniture and buy a bunch of beach chairs.

Santa Ana winds are blowing in full force in Escondido today. Very warm too. BOLA must be getting some strong north winds.

San Diego - hot and windy. Fire has broken out west of the 15 in the 4S ranch area. Evacuations mandated for Santa Luz development.
