Photos from the newspaper El Sudcaliforniano showing damages, flooding in Insurgentes-Constitution area as well as up to Sta. Rosalia can be found at:
http://www.oem.com.mx/elsudcaliforniano/notas/n829266.htm#
Once at this page, look on the top right of the main frame where it says:
“Galeria” El disastre desde las alturas. Click on this Photo.
On the Window that pops up, click on the red arrow “siguiente” (to go forward) or “anterior” to go back.
They really took a hit south of us in Mulege.

Glad you fared well pacifico. |
Your steam was well directed and deserved, IMHO.
All that ended up missing was the cheese.
Good Luck

Baja Sur Governor says relocate out of Mulege stream bed
http://www.oem.com.mx/elsudcaliforniano/notas/n831974.htm
Just paraphrasing, it says that 206 Mulege families suffered damaged to their homes, vehicles and businesses after the Mulege River overflowed. The
governor, Narciso Agúndez Montaño, visited and reiterated his commitment to relocate families living in the stream bed. It goes on to say that the
government is going to acquire 10 hectares of land from the Mulege ejido and build 206 concrete houses for the people who lost their homes.
So, even the Mexicans are getting out of the flood plain.
