So, either there is no more OFF-TOPIC, or OFF-TOPIC is so bad that this doesn't even qualify. Golf sucks BTW.

You may recall that it was not very long ago there was a thread started that posed the the question of whether Doug might consider two different off-topic forums. Leaving the current cesspool alone, but creating another one requiring a certain amount of decorum and therefore someone to closely moderate. I cannot speak for Doug, but I do sense that in the absence of that kind of change, he's granted a little more latitude on the main forum. Just a sense I get. I could be wrong.

The on-topic part of this thread is: how do Mr. Woods' present circumstances affect the development in Punta Brava?:

http://www.puntabrava.com

No affect, or ???

What say you?

Obviously, Tigers involvement is 100% of the viability of Punta Brava and so there is a Baja connection. I wonder if Mrs. Tiger is going to be telling the hubbie that there is no way he is heading to Mexico anytime soon, in light of recent events.

Also makes me wonder if there will be a Baja chica showing up in the news soon???

TIGER WOODS SKIT ON SNL - MUST SEE!

THIS GOES ALONG WITH BAJA GRINGO'S THREAD ON TIGER'S ACCIDENT

'Saturday Night Live' did a skit about his press conference the other day. VERY funny stuff!

Personally, I feel like it's been way to sensationalized, has been way over covered by the press and is none of our business...BUT, this skit was very funny!

HERE'S THE LINK...

HOPE YOU ENJOY IT!

Just saw this inquiry. Coincidently, I just posted this on the Punta Banda message Board today:

This probably wouldn't be fit to discuss here if it were not for the fact that
it may affect our neighborhood in one way or another. The Punta Brava
development has seemingly been dealt a crisis of identity. Their icon, the
inscrutable and obsessively private, Tiger Woods has allowed a glimpse into his
toy box and the contents are all but wholesome and befitting a living God. In
fact, Tigers toys are trash.
Having his name attached to a business venture is a touch of gold. His name
alone implies cleanliness while instilling trust and an aura of virtue. It
says, "I'm Tiger Woods and you will be safe with me."

Well…that's what it used to say before the world learned that he can't be
trusted. The extent of his hobby is still in the development stage with more
participants checking in and it's said he will be appearing on Oprah to tell the
world he has an addiction to sex and can't control himself.
Poor baby…..he has an addiction and we should understand that and help him in
his time of need.
Yep…..he has an addiction all right, to braking a solemn oath to his wife and
deceiving the public who have made him a billionaire.

The question remains as to whether his sponsors will begin to drop him, one by
one, and they probably will. He taints all that he's near. I'm guessing that
the money behind Punta Brava will have the same feelings. There's too much at
stake to hitch ones wagon to a pig.

Any other opinions out there?

Ya know...after giving this whole bag of crap way too much thought, it's Tiger's insistance on privacy that will bring him down. Nobody knows him for any good he has done on a personal level. He isn't full human. It's hard to feel sorry for someone you don't know.
Privacy will end up as his biggest enemy.

From my point of view I would agree Dennis, but then I don't have 1% of the megabucks of those who would consider investing in Punta Brava.

That kind of crowd seems to think it is cool to hang out with guys like Roman Polanski, Michael Jackson (no more), Paul Reubens, David Letterman and the like.

Extreme behavior must make these guys more "interesting", I guess...

They probably haven't lost any money because on Tiger... yet.
But if they do his name will be worth about as much as Donald Trump's is in Baja.

I think somebody should start a "I slept with Tiger Woods" forum online. It would have LOTS of members...

I do recall. I also recall getting thrown in the gutter for mentioning our president elect Obama. Someone must have a soft place in their heart for golf. It AINT Baja.
