Yep, the driver of that truck should have seen them before he tried to cross.

Barry | You can count on there always being at least one who'll throw caution to the wind. It does make for
good entertainment while waiting for the water to recede.

witnessed the exact thing happen to a truck similar to that in catavina several years ago. long line of big rigs, pickups and cars on both sides
waiting for water level to drop. apparently a guy in his pretty darn new chevy truck though he could make it. not! just like in that series of
photos-swept right off into the deep water sied of the road. about a foot of his cab was all that was visible. ya think when you see water like that
and even the big rigs holding off ya might want to exercise some patience....

You can rest assured, in this day and age, if you do something stupid, it Will be captured by someone with a cell camera or video.
Shari, how are you coping?
Mulege is cool with a nice breeze, slightly overcast.

send us and our house some good mojo, please! |
Not the way to have a new house christened. Hope your damage is minimal.

That really sucks! Kids and I will be there the last week of September. If you're around, we'd love to meet you. In the meantime, I hope everything
works out for you.
