We had a pretty good wind event last night where the patio furniture got to flying around around 11 pm. The settled down to 20mph for the rest of the night. Around 10 am the wind died this morning and at 12 it started to pick up again. Now we're getting gusts to 20 mph and seems to be building again.
89º ~ 62% baro steady 29.79. My internet connection with HughesNet won't let photobucket load the weather station image:fire:

Awoke to some winds at 6am and moved outside to cool off. We're socked in with black rain clouds all around. Raining now at 7am and it's nice and steady ! Sat TV still working and Banda Ancha, too. For the time being. Sounds like lots of stormy weather down here. Awesome. Tio

Clear blue skies and already 78 degrees this morning...gonna be a warm one.
The swell is still building from the south so the kids are surfing out here at the point and the fishing cooperativa has beached all the boats...so much for our fishing charter today...dang it.

Last night we could see lightening to the east and had some heat lightening too.

Here in Los Barriles, ever so grateful for the reprieve of several months of intense heat and humidity. So far today marks the third day with out needing to turn on the a.c. Dark, overcast, lots of thunder and lighting close in. Wind just picked up a bit. Wouldn't be surprised if we got some rain any minute now.

I don't have a rain gauge but I would guess about an inch, maybe a little more.
Only lasted a couple of hours.
Nothing today...partly cloudy
