Not steer this in a wrong direction but the other day I got call from someone wanting to refi my home loan. When I questioned what he was telling me he said I was so dumb I must have been a Marine. No, Navy Blue thru and thru.

Now back to the subject.

If it was my mom or dad I'd have a very hard time not dealing with it directly.

I would have to agree with JZ, I would think it would be a cheap business deal? Are these guys in with the cartel or just big thugs in a small town?

Me too... It's been extremely hard. It's very hard to keep the thoughts of all the possibilities or both what could have happened and what could happen moving forward at bay.

There are several different versions regarding their status. The Federales are sure they are not cartel related, just a small band of local thugs. Others express concerns about cartel because they were (do?) move drugs around, which is supposedly why they wanted her truck. Several of them are local fishermen, I believe involved in the illegal net fishing (or so I've heard).

I can't imagine what you are dealing with! You can only hope that Karma will strike, and they will die a hellish death of some sort. Sure, would be nice to help Karma along or speed up the process.
I really enjoyed the book that they wrote, what amazing time your family had in Baja.

I was a biker and a mean bastrd. (leave out the association of "mean" and biker) most riders are awesome folks but I wasn't. I am so sorry. I have suffered and survived serious losses in my life as many have.
Peace be with you all.

Nobody with any sense who is willing to quietly administer justice would be discussing on a forum like this.
