Our home is in the Fisher Camp....when walking south on the beach toward La Jolla, some building is starting on what looks to be a big project. Rumor
has it, it is owned by the same people who own Las Rosas Hotel in Ensenada. Thats all we know. Hope I'm wrong...

The project you are speaking of is owned by the Novelo family of Estero Beach and Las Rosas. They have owned this property for several years and have
been in the process of developing this land for retired folks to enjoy an area which will be secure and enjoyed by all. There will also be a
restaurant which can be used by everyone. KSC I dont know why you posted" I hope Im wrong?" The Novelo's have offered a superior resort enviroment and
have been very cautious as to preserving the enviroment within and around their resorts. If it was any one else I would be watching this very
carefully but believe me you will never see motorcycles racing around or fireworks going off at 10pm when you are trying to sleep. The land where this
is happening is very small compared to their other projects and will only host a very small amount of people. KSC not to worry about a thing other
than Agua Caliente trailer park just to the North. That place should be your concern. The place is an eye sore and the people there are disgusting. A
little class in that area is what Punta Banda needs!

Thank you for your info...it gives me a different perspective as to this development project. I know growth in that area is inevitable, so if it is
done right it could be a good thing for the people of the area, both Americans and Mexicans.
I also agree with you on the camping just south of that spot...it gets out of control frequently!
Just want to be a good neighbor, KSC

Other than this board, our only contact here is with locals and they are telling us this area is supposedly to become THE tourist area of Ensenada.
We live on the hillside in Cant? and I can't quite imagine that but there has definitely been more building activity up the road. There is a hotel
being built according to a friend of ours who does deliveries for a building material place in Ensenada. Between Cant? and LaJolla. All we need is
more traffic out here in the summertime!!!

Grey, Do I know you? I too have a place on the hill in Cantu. My wife is the cute girl that rides around on the blue honda 70.
The hotel is news to me and I spent 3 weeks there last month.

I'm not sure if you do or not. We live right in front of the police. Have for three years. I'm a runner and either run near the beach or along the
road and my husband rides his bike. Great place, isn't it? The police have been more than helpful and even when we had to be gone for 6 weeks last
summer when my husband had surgery, they watched our house for us.

OK, I don't think we have met but I know where you live. Carlos is our landlord. I believe he is your neighbor. We live just above the ejido
office. Yes, it is nice to have the police right there, we have never had any problems. Next time I see you I will say hi.

Me No,
I don't think I know who you are but am trying to place where you live. So you live close to Danny Rios? Yes, we live right next door to Carlos. He
is very nice. And we have Chuy above us with his grand house!! We think his retaining wall cost more than our house!! How long have you all lived
here? And where are you from? You'll have to stop by. Would love to meet you.

I can be seen around town on a three wheeler. Very gringo looking. I'm from Vegas, but I'll give you the whole story when we meet. I am planning on
being down next weekend for a BBQ with a few of the Real people from the board here. I'll stop by in the mourning to confirm.
