David is the only guy that I know who says up until 1-3 am just thinking of Baja and how he can dig things like this up to help fellow Baja nuts in their prusuits.

I don't even completely understand this 'stuff' but thanks to it being posted I am learning and enjoying Baja even when I am forced to stay home in my cramped office.

Thanks David--this is what you do best--help your friends.

Thanks Bernie... ignore those with sour grapes. Of the dozens of positive replies, his was the only negative, and note the link at the bottom of his post... Baja Nomad continues to grow as the positive here still outways the negative.

Now, do you have a request? La Salina? A rock painted to look like a frog? Heck... As good as these satellite images are I could probably show your van in your driveway with those Baja stickers on back! (don't worry, I won't)

Okay amigos, I have added a few more to the Miscl. list. including Mike's Sky Rancho, Meling Ranch, and the observatory. This central region is not available in the highest resolution, but you can make out some structures and the roads.

Still adding...
By the way, someone said you can 'tilt' the image and get a 3-D effect... How do you do this, as I don't see an icon to click for the 3-D.. Thanks!

David................ Not yet, we are still in the other BC. We're headed to Newport 10/4 for some world class cioppino @ you know where. Then to SLC for some family time, then to Branson for some more family time. We will hook up with 8 of our SM neighbors in Las Vegas on 10/19. On 10/21 we will caravan to Bahia Santa Maria picking up more neighbors on the way. It's been a great summer here in the great frozen Pacific Northwest but now it's time to go home. Come see us and we'll crack a couple XXs on the beach.

On a rainy day, flying over Baja with your PC and these satellite images is the next best thing! (a fish taco in L.A. Bay is actually better)...

Make good use of them to plan you Baja explorations!

I am using them to help make the El Rosario map... The resolution is so high around that area, I can recognize each building as I drive to it when there... then note what the building is...

David

Would you plot a trip by 'foot' from around Popolta to Neji and on to Campo then one from Neji to Yuma area.

Yes! I am working on another story and this would sure help.
Think about water as you play with the possible route.
Thanks

Playa Santispac with some www.bajagps.com waypoints AND a geocache waypoint in upper right part of picture (little brick with green circle). Ah, the power of the internet.

Not a problem!
La Ribera

It is also added to the list, just after Los Barriles... Welcome to Baja Nomad!

Agua Caliente Hot Spring (off Valle Chico)

I had Agua Caliente Canyon listed in the Miscl. Baja Sites section, but I just added a zoom in at the hot spring to the list... Remember you can scroll out from each of these photo maps by holding down the mouse left key... You can also zoom in and out in most cases...
