Put it back on the off-topic board.

Weak Stomachs

I just love this Lefty whining about a lack of civility. Liberals seem to place so much value on so little substance.

Anyone who hasn't the "stomach" to handle the verbal barbs without whining that "you're not being nice" is someone who is ill-equiped to handle life's challenges. A typical Lib trait.

The same is true of those whose "tranquility" is disturbed by having to read the confrontational threads. If your mental processes are negativelyaffected by ANY of these threads, you've got a serious problem and you're taking this nonsense WAY too seriously. It is good, though, to have confirmation that the Liberal thought process is so fraught with delicacy.

schadenfreude, for those who don't go to off-topic

translates into English as:

TAKING PLEASURE IN SOMEONE ELSE'S MISFORTUNE.

Bill...take it back to OFF-TOPIC...PLEASE

NO

I think I've already said this, but I will contribute where and when I desire. The Lefties with weak stomachs and easily bruised mentalities will simply have to endure or go away.

Good job, though, on educating the masses on the definition of "Schadenfreude". I note that you've done that a couple of times now. Great word, isn't it ? No surprise that I embrace it, is there ?

I think the anonymity of these boards tend to bring out the worst in some people. I was just reading some of the Off Topic stuff, and the aggressive behavior or some of these nuts is as bad as anything you'll see on a professional wrestling show on TV. They're probably ok in person - or maybe not; I've seen some real wing-nuts in my time.

Also, some of the personal insults/attacks could possibly be entertaining if they weren't so predictable. Using such attacks so often seems to dilute the power of these insults as opposed to the sting of a well timed zinger. They're just trolling I'm sure. Nothing better to do I guess.

During the past several years, one poster has suggested that we drop an atom bomb on every single spot on the globe in which the U.S. has had a disagreement with their leader. As each of these troubles spring forth, the same reaction is, "We should just nuke them." Are we supposed to take this sort of stuff seriously? Does not wanting to drop an atom bomb on every country we've had a disagreement with (perhaps 15 countries in the last couple of years) make me a liberal with a "soft stomach?"

I think the real victim here is the model that is the body double for Hilary. imagine that poor girl seeing her body with Hillery's head stuck on it.

Nuclear Nuts

You're Right, Pacman. The answer to International disagreements is not to "Nuke Em". It would make the Nuked area unuseable and the Fallout would stream beyond the offending country's Borders.

A more reasonable approach to International problems would be a CIA Hit team to take out the offending Dictator or perhaps some biological agent that would disperse within a short period of time. Used with discretion, we could take over the economic bounty of the dying nations.

Although I do have a Conservative viewpoint, I try to always maintain an air of moderation and common sense, trying never to insult the Imbeciles who disagree with me. If I am too predictable, Well, That's Life. Like it or Stick it, I could care less.
