Yes... Dog is my co-pilot...

and it is so hard when you have to make that life-ending decision. I was so sorry ot hear about Rocky, and here is another Nomad who understands what you are going through.

We had to put Libby, our 13 year old sheltie down about 6 years ago. I took her in and stayed with her past her last breath. I cried for weeks. I tear up thinking of that day. So sad.

Very sad Packo, and Paula...I found my boy at the bottom of the steps..had a heart attack or something..still alive but on the way out..took him around in a wagon to say good bye to all his buddies..no doubt going..I feel lucky that we didn't have to make a decision..no long illness.. he had a great day the day before, swimming in the ocean.....miss him..

Que le vaya bien, Rocky, RIP. I can't resist doggie posts, even sad ones. Here's our newest little bulldog Sarah:

My heart hurts for you.... My wife and I are long time "cat-ranchers" as my brother calls us (we ONLY have SIX ! ! !), and we understand your love and loss.

And . . . how many of you cried reading Rainbow Bridge...? C'mon Nomads, be honest now....!

Here's to that special, selfless love and loyalty that we are given by our furry friends. We have lot to learn from them!
