Your welcome! The story is actually much longer but that gives you an idea of the experience..Its like heaven there, with a couple of true old angels full of life stories...

Flora tells a story of a mountain lion coming into the canyon and taking her infant Daughter by the head screaming..She wrestled the baby away and killed the lion with a boulder...The daughter has the tienda in SJdG (can't remember her name). I saw the scars!...

lookin out toward SJdG


The little town of San Jose de Gracia is near the farthest "white" spot on the right side of the canyon..roughly 3 K's from where photo is taken..

Camping at La Junta


That is Miguel, son of Flora and Lorenzo, with the budwieser.
This guy is 50 something!! Do you think life in that little canyon is good?? It may be the fountain of youth!!

Little Windy is 2 y/o in the photo..her 1st time there..She has been back twice since then...One lucky Kid!
