Many of you probably know this, but in fish pictures: iris centered in eyeball equals dead fish; iris looking down equal live fish. This is helpful in evaluating "catch and release" photos, which are sometimes
"eat and release".

Years ago a "famous flyfisherman" from Idaho was pictured in a magazine "releasing" a mounted rainbow trout. Yes, the hardest part about professionally writing about catching big fish is supplying the pictures.

His effort got by the editor, but not the readers.:lol:
