Jorge, as far as numbers go, they are with the new owner of my Blackman. We hit the banks twice and after that found it unnecessary. From Punta Hughes we would head straight out, within 3 to 5 miles we'd hit Yellows, Dorado and Wahoo. Since my boat didn't have refrigeration we ended up giving the surf camp and locals a lot of fish.

Hook, a mile or so inside of Punta Entrada is Belchers Point, very good anchorage and shore access. Further in is Puerto Magdalena, I anchored there for a couple of days last Nov. They have a Port Capt. and he sells fuel which saves the long run into Puerto San Carlos. Get a chart of the bay, it will come in handy.
We stayed a week at a time anchored at Punta Hughes, xlnt holding. Never found the need to set up a shore camp but it is anyones turf so have at it.
