Looking north toward El Patron. The site from here during the flood must have been incredible. We'll spend some time in Mulege again this Thanksgiving.
Thanks again for the pix Natalie!

Bruce - You're most welcome for the photo sent.
It's good to know that sand spit will be back - I kinda figured as much.

Bajadogs - Quality photos - did you shoot them from the top 'o the lighthouse? Very very nice.
And your Natalie... what a cutie! Your daughter?
Thank you.

Yes Natalie,
All 3 photos were taken from the top of the lighthouse during the week of Thanksgiving 2005. That's my daughter. The poor girl is getting ready to spend her 10th consecutive Turkey Day in Baja. She is 9. We can't wait to be there!

FARASHA - I love your first shot - you've captured that mist perfectly.

And Mulegeloco - what a good shot of just how it is. Kinda awesome, I thought.

THANKS for the compliment Nena. It was taken on the very first morning in Mulege. beside the shot of the Scorpion I found in the kitchen.
I LOVED that view from the porch every Morning/Evening. Took MANY photos from that outlook.
Spent many looooong lonely hours on that porch - and taking in- the Changes of Light and Life.
Had also Hummingbirds swirling around my head all day! And got quite some nice shots from them too.

And WHOW - thats first time I see how Lighthouse area looks NOW - jeeze!! been doing dives around it, from the small strip of Beach that WAS once there!

But have to admit -I like this changes from nature!

I think that either we were sitting on the same porch at different times of the year, FARASHA, or that our porches are neighbors. And yes, most of the space on my camera chip was eaten up by that view.
