To be able to give back, a little... is a reward in itself, for all the pleasure Baja has given me!
Thanks to JR/Ski Baja for making the delivery to the end users!
Thanks to Herb for the kind words! Viva Baja!

Hey JR
"Steinway Piano, 6 feet 8 inches long, 3/4 of a full or grand size. Brought to La Paz for Vicky Esparza in 1885."

Steinway
Hey Bob, I took more pictures and found out the story about it. There are actually a couple of them at the Music Museum in El Triunfo. One is an
older model.
I am in El Centenario and can't post pictures until I get back but will share them when I return.
The sounds coming out of this piano are incredible as the Maestro is a spectacular pianist. Many of you will hear this passing through El Triunfo.
I recommend stopping at the museum as well as the mine ruins.

JR, did you show him the photo of the one I found on ebay? It would be a good investment to get the cabinet refinished.
Looking forward to your photos and the story. Did you get the serial number?

That ranch is called Coral Viejo and it was the last rancho on the way to the confluence point of 111.00x 26.00 I think it was. The story is at http://groups.msn.com/TheBajasBestGuidesPhotoAlbum or you can also see it at www.confluence.org under first 'Mexico" then go to "Baja Norte".

Bob, my apologies for the delay. I am building a bamboo house up in the mountains down here and have been very busy as an Indian friend and I are
doing everything ourselves.
As soon as I can I will fill you in but I think I already told you where it was, no?

PS
Any of you traveling south, I recommend going slowly through El Triunfu and when you see the sign for the Museum, go even slower so that you may hear
the wonderful music coming from this piano if the Maestro is playing. If you stop, he will play.
