You tequila lovers missed the free samples from this small distillery of superb tequila. A lecture from it's founder was very informative!

all three there (blanco, reposado, and añejo) - and felt the añejo was the standout... for some reason by a wide-margin.

Thanks to Ted and all the vendors. Leslie and I ran into some friends of the family and gathered some useful info. Good to put faces to a few Nomads
and talk about our Baja jones's.

Phooey! Sorry we didn't meet more of you! Did meet Artful Art, David K. Keri and a few others. Maybe we can meet more of you on 5/5 at the
wine-tasting/book signing. How crazy do you think it will be down there on Cinco de Mayo?

It will be crazier at your local El Torito, by far.
No worries if avoiding craziness is your goal.

Hook is correct, Cinco de Mayo is a much bigger deal in the U.S. then in Northern Baja... Remember, 5 de Mayo is NOT their Independence Day (Sept.
16).

Mex-Expo
David K and Doug, I missed both of you but met a number of other Nomads. This was a great place to gather information and spend a little money and
make plans for more Baja Trips. My wife and I met Kari, BajaJeff, Awful Art, BajaBernie, Hugh and Carole, Graham, Cecila, SDRonni, and I think Mexico
Ted at a booth there. It was a great time but I must have just left as you two arrived as my wife kept looking over at the Home and Garden Show next
door. Your right about May 5th not a real big think in Baja Norte. My wife and I will be at the book signing on May 5th and I plan hopefully to stay
over at Kari resort she was advertising. By the way the map I down loaded for the trip to Mazatlan Kari and others asked for the website so here it
goes: www.ontheroadin.com is probably the best mapping I have ever used. My wife and I traveled without having one arguement while being on the move
and getting down from Nogales to Mazatlan. Quote: | Originally posted by David K

I just wanted to thank all of the Nomads who came down to the Mexico Expo we had. The show was deemed a success by almost every exhibitor so we will
continue to promote the shows. Our next one will be June 2nd in San Francisco.
Thanks again and nice to meet the Nomads I hadn't met before.
Ted
