THANKS PAUL FOR LEAVEING A FEW FOR US, MIKE , AS THE WATER WARMS UP THE BAIT TENDS TO GO DEEPER AND ALLSO THE YELLOWS WERE THE WATER IS ALOT COOLER. THE WATER WAS REALY WARMING UP WHEN WE LEFT. :coolup:

Great report, Steve. I would have liked to see you handlining that fish, that's for sure!

I've never made it around the back of the big island. I've been up and down the front, fished the reef off the south tip, and been to Refugio, but not the back end. Looks like a great trip - looks like there was a big boat in one of those pictures, where was it?

Nice fish, I wish Brendan could have been there to see you bring in those monsters. He still talks about how tired his arm was with his 2 20#ers (of course, he was only 8 at the time. :o

roberto that was a converted trawler to live aboard. she was at anchore in the bay they call estanqa. the people were whey cool when i ran into them at memos place.
