Wow, what progress you have made since I first started following your project over the last five years or so. Audrey and I plan to stopping by during our October trip down (first two+ weeks). We'll be winging it on the way down and back.

the sealer really doesn't do that well...
i tried it and i have a LONG stick:biggrin:

we plan on painting to get the color correct for all the units
we just painted the garage
i just now have to make sure the comex guys mix correctly

location...
we're 8 miles south of the pemex on hwy1 just south past town
it takes about 10 minutes

we're north of burro which is south of santispac
we're about 3 miles north of santispac
santispac is just around the corner when you're on the water

you can actually see the lighthouse from the road now that it has some color:saint::saint:

Ok if you are not going to seal the concrete(bad idea in my opinion) then at least use Osel paint...it is the best!

What we used is painted on before the paint(the Osel also has sealer in it)....
Without it(i e before the building was sealed and painted) when John came through, we had water coming through our electrical outlets.

Bob & Susan,

WOW!

How lucky you are to be living your dream!

Your place looks wonderful and although it'll be a couple of years before we can come see you, we will eventually be there!

Please clarify the pricing on your website. The units look great, and the communal kitchen is such a great idea. I've been watching all along but just recently saw a reference to "all inclusive". Is the published pricing all inclusive or is that another pricing structure?

It doesn't really matter, 'cuz we'll be there as soon as we can. I just wanted to understand what you're offering.

Thanks for all your postings! I'm living vicariously through you, you lucky dogs!

Note: This is not meant as a flame, attack, etc, etc. on anyone.

Luck is what causes things to happen with no intervention of the individual involved - like winning the lottery, no skill involved. I'm just guessing here, but I would bet "luck" had little to do with Bob and Susan's place being what it is today. Some words that come to mind are: patience, hard work, planning.

I would say a much better word is fortunate, and that they most certainly are!

That all being said and done, best of "luck" in the future.:lol::lol::lol:

Roberto, you have never met his wife. There has to be some luck involved there, somewhere.

Do you still off a free car wash with every three day package? Las time I was there I got a free car wash, and I would hate to think the service has gone down hill.:?:

Roberto,
Of course I recognize it isn't luck that brought Bob and Susan to their dream. It's determination, fortitude, and the adventurers spirit that allowed them to pursue their dream. In "lucky" I only meant that they're "fortunate" to have had the dream and the fortitude to see it to completion. And I'd be surprised if they don't fall asleep each night thinking how "lucky" they are to have realized their dream.
Bob & Susan, I hope you heard my message and how envious and respectful I am of you both.
Good luck!

I like the lighthouse too. It really adds an extra dimension when viewed from a distance as in the photo. It might not hurt to put some kind of light up on top of the lighthouse so airplanes don't crash into it at night and/or so that it can serve as a landmark at night.
