Lots of activity in Agua Caliente

Again, from all the posts of folks, it would appear that there are a lot more humans lurking in this canyon than first meets the eye-----and they are not all just looking around and exploring! If you think that you get frustrated at not being able to just go out to the canyon at the drop of a hat, how do you think I feel being about 900 miles away?? David's notations superimposed on the picture are just super for getting oriented. Now I am so curious that I am beside myself. So many things to see. Seeing where David has the 'garden', I know that we never got even close to that side of the canyon in '96. Thanks for the info on the '97 floods----explains a lot. Barry

I posted them on a photo site at http://photos.yahoo.com/baja_lou

This one is great, right over the 'farm' and hot springs! Photo is looking south (upstream). Hot springs are on the right, between the canyon bends...

On page 6 of http://vivabaja.com/404 :

Then view of the hot springs location was fine, but that barrel cactus is worth checking out at 7 feet in height!

you guys are trying to get me worked up again

OK, this is not fair. You have posted this stuff again and it is summer and I do not go to Baja in the summer. In fact, I am off to British Columbia in a few days to explore around there for 3 or 4 weeks. I WILL get back down to Agua Caliente but not for a few months, until it cools off. Thanks for getting me all excited again. Best, Barry

PS I just got back from several weeks in New England---we did the coast from Maine to NYC----really beautiful.
