Take a hammer and hit your big toe as hard as you can. You will not notice the hangover. Guaranteed to work!

A large glass of water with a high potency multivitamin and two asprin before I go to bed. Does it for me.

Let's see...

A bong hit to settle your stomach and make you thirsty

Alka-seltzer and water for headache/dehydration

B-complex for the shakes Washed down with a beer, of course)

A line or two of good coke to wake you up.

Now you're ready to start over again!

We're talking about something that feels like the top half of your head is separated from the bottom half by six-inches and there's a cold wind blowing in-between!

Glass of room temp water, followed 15-minutes later by two extra-strength Tylenol (gentle).

Twenty minutes after the Tylenol take 10 mg. of diazepam (Valium) and shut out all of the outside light. Room temperature should be in the high sixties.

When your doze is over you might be ravenous. Start out by scrambling three eggs with a little milk. Serve on hot unbuttered toast.

I've heard that when medical doctors get hangovers, they use an IV to replace fluids and put in any needed medicine. Would Baja doctors or pharmacists be willing to hook up a post traumatic alcohol sufferer to an IV? I've had hangovers so bad that I couldn't eat or drink anything until 6:00 PM without ralphing thus rendering most of the above remedies as worthless. An IV would seem to do the trick.

Well, I don't know about the cheap booze thing. The only time I drink cheap booze is at an all-inclusive resort. I don't really like the taste of it, so I don't drink too much of it and no problems arise. It works out OK because the whole swimming pool area is full of party type people partaking, but nobody seems to get stupid drunk and cause problems. When I go camping, I can drink a whole lot of Coors Banquet without any problem, but pale ale, porter, or stout can make me pay the next day. Straight tequila, regardless of the quality, is likely to cause problems. After drinking too much JD or Wild Turkey, I'd want the IV with some sort of medicine. But the sad truth is - I haven't had a bad hangover for about 3 of more years.

From my bartending days...

A glass of soda water, three good squirts of angostura bitters, half of a lemon squeezed, and a shot of grenadine.

That concoction saved many a young little hottie c-ck tail waitress form sufferage...they then seemed to feel a debt of gratitude necessary:yes::cool:.....ah the good ole days-over.

For myself, Birria de Chiva en su jugo and a good clamato corona works well.

For my alcohol excess cure the next morning, I choose from a menu of milk, tomato juice, potato chips, breakfast burrito, cold pizza or just about any greasy food.

Noticed in my 21 months living in Mexico that there seems to be a significant increase in alcohol consumption from my previous social life in Denver.

"Dog hair" idea has never worked for me.

I admit to being a minor leaguer compared to others when it comes to drinking. Usually stick with beer or wine as I seem to be able to monitor their effects v. the tougher stuff.

I am working on my health and agree with those recommending water before, during and after adult beverage consumption. In addition to choosing the right parents, I think that my water consumption keeps me away from headaches.
