This wasn't a random act of violence. ;D

And my response wasn't a random act of humor.........it was measured.

It's baseball playoffs time, Dave. Nothing more important than that.

One group of bodies, 11, was found in the colonia, "Otay Constituyentes." That's a upscale neighborhood.

They tossed them in a vacant lot next to a grammar school. By the way, the count is up to 25 for the day.

The tote board is short, another 6 bodies this morning. The TJ morgue announced they are overflowing and have no place to put all the bodies.

But, there is good news. President Calderon announced last night that Mexico would have "zero tolerance" for corruption.

Sometimes one just has to bow to the absurd.

Even more absurd- the morgue posts photos of unclaimed bodies on the net.

The TJ news is reporting there were two survivors of the massacre- one 12 and one 14 years old. Most of the vitims were from the same family. They are interviewing the two to see what they can disclose.

The news also reported that a camera at the elementary school where some of the bodeis were dumped was non-operational. geeesh.

Bad guys killing rival bad guys and the dead guys are affiliated the Arellano cartel, at least I think that's true. I can't read Spanish very well but today's TJ newspaper has 25 murders in the past 24 hours, 32 in the past week, some teenagers as young as 15. TJ, Rosarito, Ensenada, and Tecate.

I remember trying to read the story about the big shoot out between cartels several months ago. One thing I got out of it was that the maniacs were mostly in their early 20s.

This is really getting serious

I was just reading in "Frontera" that two of the people killed this morning may have been soldiers and that the cartel is directly challenging the Mexican Army.

They were found with a message that said, "ahí tienes a tu gente Duarte, ven a recogerlos". ["Behold your people Duarte, come and pick them up."] General Alfonso Duarte Mújicae is the general in charge of the Tijuana area and two days ago he held a press conference to annouce they captured a large arsenal of weapons.
